About Community Schools

Hubbard is a community school that receives funding under the California Department of Education (CDE) California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP). 

“A community schools strategy transforms a school into a place where educators, local community members, families, and students work together to strengthen conditions for student learning and healthy development” (Community Schools Forward).

Our Community School Site Specialist

Our Community School Site Specialist, or CSSS, leads the implementation of the community schools framework at our site, in partnership with our principal.
